Supporting you from the development stage through to the approval of your products

 Specialising in automotive pollution since the introduction of European regulations in 1970, our services extend from the development process through to regulatory validation (approval testing).

Equipment adapted to vehicles from mopeds to HGVs  

Our Energy & Emissions Laboratory boasts 8 test benches and testing units in a private restricted-access area on the Montlhéry site.

 Our services cover :
  • All types of vehicles (2-wheeled, light vehicles, HGVs, etc.)
    All engine types (internal combustion, electric, hybrid engines, etc.)
  • Pollutant generators
  • 4-gas analysers and opacimeters

Internationally renowned expertise 

In addition to our European accreditation, we are also qualified to carry out type approval testing by several other countries including Japan and Taiwan.

Accredited and strictly controlled performance  

ISO 17025 accreditation diploma

UTAC has been accredited ISO 17025 by COFRAC (French Accreditation Committee).

We organise annual round robin tests for the analysis of vehicle exhaust emissions and consumption. These tests guarantee the reliability of our results.
