Retrofit Hydrogen
UTAC is proud to be working with GCK, a major player in carbon-free mobility, and its subsidiaries GCK Mobility and GCK Energy, to implement the hydrogen retrofit regulations.
New processes have been jointly defined, including:
The supply of a mobile hydrogen refuelling station on the UTAC Linas-Montlhéry site by GCK Energy
Adaptation of the UTAC test facilities, enabling all the tests required for a hydrogen vehicle to be carried out in complete safety: electromagnetic compatibility, acoustics, steering, braking, etc.
Once the tests have been validated, the Iveco Crossway coach retrofitted by GCK Mobility will be authorised to transport passengers again in complete safety, thus demonstrating French expertise in this field. Toyota recently announced that these vehicles will be used to transport people during the 2024 Olympic Games.
