International
Consortium
UTAC is about to officially launch its next industrial consortium, accompanied by a dozen players from the international automotive ecosystem. The aim of this project, which will run until the end of 2025, is to identify the use cases, resources and test methods needed to assess the performance of ADAS under degraded weather conditions.
The main work packages for this project are as follows:
- WP1: Identification of relevant use cases by studying the accident database.
- WP2: Study and definition of degraded weather conditions and different variants.
- WP3 : Assessment of the safety benefits of more robust ADAS and sensors.
- WP4 : Study and testing of the test equipment required to carry out dynamic tests in degraded weather conditions.
- WP5: Definition of recommendations on the methods and tests to be carried out for a relevant evaluation of ADAS performance in degraded weather conditions.
