Harley Davidson tests its young rider engines thanks to UTAC’s expertise!

The iconic American brand called on UTAC’s expertise to go through homologation tests for the young rider versions of its two iconic FatBob and Roadglide models equipped with the Twin-cooled Milwaukee-Eight 114 engine.

European regulations created a new market when the decision was made to create a category of motorcycles dedicated to young riders called A2. This is the only category accessible to holders of a motorcycle license during their first two years of riding. In concrete terms, motorcycles in this category must have a power limited to 35 kW (47.5 hp).

UTAC is proud to have participated in the approval of these A2 versions of the Twin-cooled Milwaukee-Eight 114 engine and worked with the Harley Davidson teams by highlighting its know-how in the category of motorized 2/3 wheels.
