Small cars, quadricycles, electric bicycles, cargo bikes, scooters – over the last few years, many new ways of getting around have emerged. What they all have in common is that they are light, compact and generally electrified.
However, their use on our roads and in our towns and cities also has to comply with a number of standards and regulations.
UTAC is putting all its expertise at the disposal of all those involved in soft mobility to support them and help them meet regulatory and standards requirements :
– Product categorisation (category L vehicle, cycle, motorised personal transport device, etc.)
– Presentation of the applicable regulatory framework (EU type-approval, CE certification, specific national provisions)
– Presentation of the technical requirements applicable to the product and the various administrative processes.
