Artificial Intelligence
UTAC is involved throughout the development cycle of land vehicles in order to validate and certify systems or vehicles as a whole. For the past 10 years, the Group has been setting up test procedures for the validation of automated vehicles.
In 2019, UTAC will inaugurate TEQMO, a test centre for automated and connected vehicles. At the same time, UTAC is piloting, alongside Gustave Eiffel University, the PRISSMA project as part of the major AI challenge. This project focuses on the evaluation of AI-based systems in order to guarantee their proper functioning. UTAC is also a winner of the European “Testing and Experimentation Facilities for smart cities” scheme, which aims to equip Europe with top-level AI skills. Under this scheme, SMEs and start-ups can take advantage of free validation services for their AI-based systems, using physical tests or simulations. All that is required is that their solutions are applicable to the worlds of mobility and smart cities.
