Job Description

This is a global Internal Communications Specialist role, reporting to UTAC’s Head of Communications. You will work closely with the Head of Communications to implement the internal communications plan and develop engaging, relevant communications materials for employees across UTAC globally.

Responsibilities

Editorial: conducting interviews, writing, reviewing, and publishing content for the UTAC intranet. You will be responsible for the weekly intranet newsletter.
Intranet Management: Manage and maintain the UTAC intranet, ensuring content is accurate, relevant and up to date.
Audiovisual Content: Manage the UTAC media library and support the creation and editing of video content.
Events: Support the planning, coordination and delivery of internal communications meetings and events.
Graphic Design: Create engaging and relevant visual content to support internal communications projects and initiatives.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior leaders, to support their communication needs.
Internal Communications Projects: In a constantly evolving environment, you will contribute your expertise to all future internal communications projects.
Act in accordance with the behaviours for UTAC staff at all times.

Qualifications

Degree-level qualification in Communications or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant qualification/experience.

Experience

3-5 years experience in communications, including internships or apprenticeships.
Experience managing the back office of websites and SharePoint.
Experience in graphic design and video editing.
Managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Working in environments involving regular interactions with senior management.

Skills

Essential

Excellent written, verbal and stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence audiences at all organisational levels, through compelling content.
Strong project coordination, organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Confidence using AI-enabled productivity tools to improve efficiency.
Fluent written and spoken English.

Desired

Proficiency in reading, writing and speaking French.

Personal Behaviours

Proactive and self-motivated, able to work independently while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
Exceptional attention to detail, with a strong commitment to accuracy and high-quality outputs.
