Linas-Montlhéry is your go-to testing hub for connected and autonomous vehicles with cutting-edge labs and tracks powered by 5G and more. In 2018, UTAC has unveiled TEQMO, a brand new innovation centre dedicated to development and homologation testing of connected and automated vehicles.

In the Northwest of England, UTAC’s Leyland facility offers high-level expertise in interior and heavy vehicle testing. Equipped with cutting-edge technology, the site specializes in dynamic testing of vehicle components such as seats, doors, and airbags. Leyland is also a key centre for evaluating large vehicles.

IVL Ivalo, Finland

UTAC has established a strong presence in northern Finland with more than 100 km of outdoor and indoor test tracks, dedicated to vehicle and tyre testing in demanding winter conditions. The two main sites, Mellatracks and Ivalo Airport, are designed to support a wide range of testing activities.

ITA Milan, Italy

In 2024, UTAC launched a new subsidiary in Italy to strengthen its transalpine presence. Focus areas include vehicle homologation (EU and UNECE standards), durability testing, and regulatory compliance. The Italian office is also ISO 17020 certified, underscoring its credibility as an inspection and testing body.

ROM Bucharest, Romania

UTAC Romania SRL was established in 2024 in Bucharest (Sector 3) and focuses on technical testing and analysis under NACE code 7120.

USA Northville, Michigan, USA

In the U.S., UTAC operates two specialized laboratories located in Michigan and California, both fully dedicated to electromobility. The core focus lies in two areas: testing electric drive units (EDUs) and developing, manufacturing, and installing control systems for EDU test equipment.

In Morocco, UTAC has opened a brand-new test centre in partnership with FEV Group. Just 90 minutes from Casablanca, the Morocco Mobility and Automotive Centre features over 30 km of test tracks, including high-speed, durability and reliability, off-road, gradient, braking, acoustic, and coast-down tracks all within a fully secure and confidential environment.
