UTAC has built a significant winter proving ground in northern Finland, offering test tracks tailored for vehicle and tyre testing in harsh winter environments. The primary sites, Ivalo Airport and Mellatracks are equipped to accommodate a diverse array of testing requirements.

Winter Proving Ground

In Finland, UTAC manages more than 100 km of test tracks across its Mellatracks and Ivalo Airport sites, both dedicated to winter testing. These facilities feature a wide range of outdoor circuits and five indoor tracks (snow, ice, wet, and dry) allowing for comprehensive vehicle and tyre testing in all weather conditions, throughout the year.
