Cybersecurity, a challenge for mobility
In June 2020, UN Regulation No 155 was adopted by the Economic Commission for Europe, requiring cybersecurity to be integrated throughout the value chain of vehicle manufacturers and their ecosystems.
The first phase of this international regulation entered into force in June 2022 for new generation electronic architectures and, from July 2024, will apply to all models produced by manufacturers.
The standard ISO/SAE 21434 was formalised in August 2021 and proposes a common reference framework for the automotive industry to organise and manage its cybersecurity activities.
UTAC, official technical service designated by the authorities for cybersecurity approval
We have the capability to test cybersecurity at vehicle, system and component level.
Our cybersecurity experts carry out dynamic and static penetration tests, vulnerability scans and risk analyses.
Cybersecurity certification of organisations and products also forms part of our service offering.
TEQMO, our innovation center
UTAC has its own tests laboratory-center dedicated entirely to cybersecurity for mobility. The facility can test complex connected systems and different technologies, from development to approval.
UTAC’s cyber lab, located in UTAC Linas-Montlhéry in France, can use TEQMO’s 12 km of test track fully equipped with 5G and V2X.
At the centre of new technologies for mobility and the connected city
We conduct analyses of smart and connected city use cases that can anticipate incidents, identify vulnerabilities and support robust design.
