HR As­sis­tant

Job Description

 

  • Act as the main HR contact for colleagues in Finland.
  • Support the day-to-day operation of the business in all HR related administration.
  • Support managers with recruitment – proof reading JD’s, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, administration of the recruitment system ensuring accuracy.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Prepare all administrative documents related to people management: contracts, amendments, leaver documents, etc
  • Maintain up-to-date records for each colleague, including time/attendance reports.
  • Guide our line managers to manage in the UTAC way.
  • Promote the UTAC culture and values (Integrity, Expertise, and Innovation).
  • Support payroll activity each month.
  • Manage HR related payables in AP-system (Maestro NG)
  • Manage the working time monitoring system (Deltabit)
  • Provide sickness absence reports for the group on a monthly basis, plus any ad hoc requests.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

 

  • Strong and proven office administration experience.
  • Basic knowledge of employment laws and best practice in Finland. 
  • Some experience in recruitment / supporting recruitment activities would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Experience of supporting Payroll would be very desirable, but not essential.
  • Fluency in English and Finnish is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management, multi-tasking, and organization skills.
  • Strong attention to detail required.
  • Strong IT skills
  • Ability to work independently and have the initiative to ask for help when needed.
