Several months after the announcement of the construction of the dedicated testing centre, our Finnish teams were pleased to host the official opening ceremony of the new NEXEN TIRE centre.
The event took place in the presence of the UTAC and NEXEN TIRE teams, along with international journalists, marking a key milestone in the development of this strategic partnership focused on winter tyre testing.
In his speech, Janne Seurujärvi, Managing Director of UTAC Finland, praised NEXEN TIRE's commitment and vision: "I would like to congratulate the NEXEN TIRE team in advance. Their future looks bright. In this fiercely competitive industry, manufacturers who invest boldly in research and development, as well as in winter tyre testing, are the ones who succeed. Higher quality products, a stronger brand, increased sales: this is the opportunity now in front of them.”
This inauguration also marks the official launch of the operational phase. Thanks to this new centre, NEXEN TIRE will now be able to conduct its tests under optimal conditions and extend its testing season, thus strengthening its capacity for innovation
