A Unique Site in France for Military Drone Testing

Located in the Paris region, UTAC has rare infrastructure in France:

  • Secure flight zones suitable for aerial testing
  • Test areas meeting strict confidentiality requirements
  • Defense equipment storage capabilities
  • Internal and external laboratories covering, in particular:
    • Acoustics
    • Cybersecurity
    • Connectivity
    • Lighting and environmental testing (including fire)
    • Electromagnetic compatibility
    • Vibration and durability
    • Batteries (from cycling to destructive testing)

Operational Scenarios on the Ground and in the Air

One of UTAC’s key strengths lies in its ability to combine ground and flight testing at a single site.

It is therefore possible to:

  • Operate vehicles on the ground
  • While simultaneously flying drones
  • Within realistic, coordinated scenarios aligned with your needs

Comprehensive tests can be carried out with partners: wooded areas, targets, prepared terrains, etc., to meet operational requirements.

UTAC, a Laboratory Serving the Air Defense Drone Pact

By joining the Air Defense Drone Pact, UTAC makes its infrastructure, expertise, and innovation capabilities available to support current and future military programs.
