In the UK, UTAC has a test centre and laboratories at UTAC Millbrook situated mid-way between London and Birmingham and at UTAC Leyland test laboratories in the North West. In France, UTAC has two test centres and numerous laboratories. All of the group’s activities are carried out in the UTAC Linas-Montlhéry and UTAC Mortefontaine, both located near Paris, one to the north and the other to the south. These two centres have more than 50 km of test tracks: speed, endurance, ADAS, braking, dynamic platform, etc., as well as state-of-the-art laboratories in the fields of electromagnetic compatibility, acoustics, cyber security and simulation. At UTAC Linas-Montlhéry, a laboratory and tracks are entirely dedicated to automated and connected vehicles, TEQMO including all the possibilities of 5G connectivity and others.

In Finland, UTAC has conquered the far north with over 100 km of outdoor and indoor tracks. UTAC Mellatracks and UTAC Airport are two sites dedicated to vehicle and tyre testing in winter conditions. UTAC Mellatracks has numerous outdoor tracks for all types of tests and for all types of vehicles. UTAC also offers its customers five indoor tracks – snow & ice, wet & dry, which allow them to work all year round, regardless of the weather.

Morocco Mobility & Automotive Centre
In Morocco, UTAC has just opened a brand new test centre, in partnership with FEV Group. This new centre offers more than 30 km of tracks: speed, durability & reliability, off-road, hills, braking, acoustics, coast-down, as well as fully equipped customer workshops, all in a fully secure and confidential environment. UTAC also offers a building and dedicated tracks for events and training activities. The Morocco Mobility & Automotive Centre is located 90 minutes from Casablanca, in the city of Oued Zem.

In the United States, UTAC has two laboratories in Michigan and California, both of which are entirely dedicated to electromobility. UTAC specialises in two activities: EDU – electric driveline testing, and the design, manufacture and installation of EDU test device control systems.
UTAC collaborates with the most important car manufacturers and equipment suppliers as well as with new entrants in the electromobility market.

In Germany, near Frankfurt, this new laboratory specialized in e-powertrain (EDU) testing is intended to become the group’s European platform for managing all tests related to electric mobility. The choice of Germany is particularly relevant, as UTAC has chosen to be close to the main car manufacturers and equipment suppliers, in order to support them in the challenges of electromobility. On more than 4,400 square meters, the laboratory offers two new e-powertrain test cells, soon to be completed by two additional cells.
